自己紹介
I am a complex, diverse, nerd, jock, and scientist all rolled into a crazy, fun, mysterious package. I was born an incomplete C6/7 tetraplegic caused by amniocentesis inutero. I lived an amazing life, basically as a para, for 21 years. Then my spinal fusion broke at T7/8, sending me on a journey through hell and near death experiences, all thanks to a couple Mayo doctors. They did a lot wrong, then tried to cover it up (can't sue Mayo, too powerful). The worst thing they did was to give me a bone infection (someone got their acne on my spine during the first 'fix'. So, it broke again a year later. That's when I was introduced to the world of severe nerve pain and autonomic dysreflexia. I've actually been paralyzed further technically four times, and nearly died four times. There is life after death. I got to float over my body once. Currently, I am struggling for my life. The extreme pressures from the spinal fusion, and maybe cuz I played sports pretty hard core (I'm a national triple gold medalist in field, expert level shooter and was a 1Lt. Army Rifle Team Commander for ROTC, but not hunter, played for some of the best wheelchair basketball teams, played Murderball at U of AZ, and have volunteered for youth wheelchair sports teams) are now causing compression of my cord, autonomic nervous system failure, and just general chaos. I hope a complete spinal fusion revision and maybe stem cell therapy in Europe will save me. I still have big plans. I'm not done yet, and I need someone to share it with.
